Ridgway Trees is a small team of arborists in South Wales. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or get in touch, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have. We keep it simple: we only use your details to look after your enquiry and your trees.

Who we are

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Our website and enquiry system provider: hosts our website and safely stores enquiries from the quote form.
  • Google: Gmail, which we use for our email.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to message us there.
  • Our accountant, insurers or professional advisers where needed, and authorities if the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. When that happens, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US Data Bridge.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years, then deleted.
  • Customer records, quotes and invoices: 6 years after the work, as required for tax and accounting.
